SELECT WORKS ON SALE MONDAY NOVEMBER 29, 2021
As the days get shorter and the gold and amber leaves drift past us in the crisp Fall air, this exhibition takes a moment to reflect on this grand transition that we experience annually. For “Fall Transformation” we have selected works that visually explore seasonal change, Fall colors, and transformation (both personal and environmental). Autumn can be a time of reflection, gratitude and awareness; a time to take stock and prepare for the future. Artists in this show reflect on not only the seasonal colors, but the conceptual underpinnings that are relayed through nature's cycle of the seasons.
In addition to these intangible associations, Autumn is a tactile time, be it the dry leaves crunching under our feet, the feel of warm flannel or the chill of a cool Fall wind. The artists in this exhibition have interpreted these sensations in a multitude of ways, from directly referencing fallen leaves to more abstract discussions on transition.
As the squirrel gathers nuts to prepare for the Winter, Autumn is a time to expand your art collection. For sales inquires please email info@frontroom.org
